Her treatment approach is either client-centered, relationship-oriented, solution-focused and/or cognitive behaviorally oriented depending on what is needed for the individual client. Dr. Nicci is a Christian and believes God cares greatly for the hearts of His people and uses connected relationships to facilitate comfort, and healing. While many clients share this belief in God, others do not and are equally respected and cared about regardless of their belief system or background.

Dr. Nicci has struggled personally with hardships that have tested her faith and caused her to pursue her own healing and growth and continues to do so as a way of life. She has two children and has walked through the pain and brokenness of divorce, but has since remarried. She has seen firsthand how God redeems our stories and takes broken things and makes them beautiful.

In her free time, Dr. Nicci enjoys walking, movies, decorating, reading and going to the beach or educational field trips with her family.
